This is a LED retrofit light for 12" Florescent Tube Lights. Due to the size of these smaller tube lights, an external driver is provided. This driver converts 10-30v DC RV power to a clean 12v DC power for long tube life. Other brands of retrofit tube lights have a wire and the driver hanging out the side of the tube, we choose to provide the driver separately and we utilize the natural pins on the end of the tube for power for a much cleaner looking installation. Since the driver occupies the space of your previous ballast, you will never see the wires or driver while looking up at your fixture.
4500k Natural White. For 6000k Cool White see part number T5-Tube-CW. Though not as popular, this tube is also available in 3200k Warm White part number T5-Tube-WW for those that want a Warmer Look.
You will need basic 12vDC wiring skills to install these tubes, or have them professionally installed. Wiring is basic, each driver gets a positive and negative wire connected, and each driver has a positive and negative wire that need to be connected to the end of each tube. Thin-lite tube to LED
12" tube to LED somewhat labor intensive. There are other LEDs at a lower price but previous contact/presention weighed in decision to purchase. YouTube series by RVGeeks aided greatly with install. To increase space I removed the ballast which did give added room to tuck away the necessary wires. Also, I used a couple of automotive ties to help tidy wires for convenient ballast cover replacement. M4 Note: You can preview the instructions on our site. In a nutshell, for each tube there are four wires to connect to a driver. Two out, black and red, one to each end of the tube. Two in connect the the two coming into the fixture, through the switch if you have one. Do one tube at a time to simplify it.

Fulfilled all expectations.
Easy install if you watch the RVGeeks YouTube video 1st. Bright, instant-on lights. Will order more as my fluorescents burn out.

Really nice lighting!
A little more work to install but if you follow the video listed on the website it’s a plece of cake.

12" LED Bulbs are great
Brought replacement bulbs to convert my old florescent ones. These LEDs are much brighter and very clean light. Keep up the great quality.

12" LED Replacement for fluorescent bulb in rv
Installation was a little more complicated but as long as you take your time and read the directions it will be okay.

pretty good product
Of course my fixture was not an easy one. I had to drill out 4 rivets to get to the transformer. The cover covered the entire interior. Barely enough room under cover for all the wires. I should have shortened them for an easier fit. Ordered the midrange brightness, it was perfect. I have to do 2 more it should be a breeze.

What the doctor ordered.
I’m very happy with the M4 LED tubes we bought to replace the flourescent tubes in our RV. I bought both warm white and natural white and both provide very good lighting with no flickering. The natural white is bright and “airy” and the warm white provides a comfortable, cozy ambience. Although these have been operational for only a few weeks, I’m confident I’ll be saying the same thing further on down the road. M4 replacement LED tubes appear to be the answer.

Run cool, excellent design.
These bulbs run very cool, which I suspect is due to the drivers which regulate voltage and/or current. They are a little more expensive but far superior to the non-regulated bulbs that you find on amazon (which BTW are a fire hazard and melted the plastic lenses on my thin-lite fixtures).
