This is a LED retrofit light for 12" Florescent Tube Lights. Due to the size of these smaller tube lights, an external driver is provided. This driver converts 10-30v DC RV power to a clean 12v DC power for long tube life. Other brands of retrofit tube lights have a wire and the driver hanging out the side of the tube, we choose to provide the driver separately and we utilize the natural pins on the end of the tube for power for a much cleaner looking installation. Since the driver occupies the space of your previous ballast, you will never see the wires or driver while looking up at your fixture.
4500k Natural White. For 6000k Cool White see part number T5-Tube-CW. Though not as popular, this tube is also available in 3200k Warm White part number T5-Tube-WW for those that want a Warmer Look.
You will need basic 12vDC wiring skills to install these tubes, or have them professionally installed. Wiring is basic, each driver gets a positive and negative wire connected, and each driver has a positive and negative wire that need to be connected to the end of each tube. Good Lamps
From my measurements with my smartphone app Neither the CW or the NW were as bright as the original florescent tubes - but the power consumption and heat produced no longer melts the plastic sockets. The CW seems to be brighter but measured the same as the NW. The best customer service I have ever encountered for an internet purchased item. M4 Note: Typical customers report about 10% more light with an LED tube. As discussed with John, I don't put a lot of faith in the phone app, actual visual light is most important.

Natural lighting makes a huge difference--beautiful and refreshing to know these last a long time.

RV Lighting
Very fast shipping! The quality of the lights are excellent and after watching the RV Geeks install they were easy to install. The instructions that were included were for another light and maybe would work for these but i just watched the video to install. Would buy again as i change them out.

Coverting to LED
Product and directions were great. The difficult part was the narrow thin fixture not having enough space to fit all the drivers. It took some time but I got it> Lights are great. So much brighter.

Let there be light - bright light
I changed out 3 fixtures which each had (2) t-5 florescent tubes. Directions were exact and easy to follow. Each one took less than 10 minutes to complete. So much brighter with no dead spots in our 190 Roadtrek. Very happy!

Great conversion kit and excellent cutomer service
I converted six 12" florescent bulbs in 3 fixtures using M4 LEDs in our Class B van. One of the six LEDs was noticeably brighter than the other 5, and the measured voltage across the LED was ~2 volts higher than the others. I contacted M4 by email, and response from Steve was immediate. After reviewing my installation via photos, Steve sent out a replacement driver which resolved the difference. Thank you so much Steve, for your quick response, concern and verification of correct installation, and for your well designed conversion kit with great instructions.

Brighten up the RV
Replaced 12 inch florescent bulbs with LED. Instruction were good and YouTube video really helped. LED is much brighter. Have only used a small amount so will see how things go in next 6 months

Excellent
Starting to convert as many lights as I can in my Airstream Travel Trailer and found these bulbs. They were very easy to install and the finished look is almost identical to the original look. Unless you look really close you would think that they were the original Florescent bulbs. The brightness was almost a perfect match also. Very pleased with the product. A little pricey to switch over but I will never have to replace the bulbs again.
