This is a LED retrofit light for 12" Florescent Tube Lights. Due to the size of these smaller tube lights, an external driver is provided. This driver converts 10-30v DC RV power to a clean 12v DC power for long tube life. Other brands of retrofit tube lights have a wire and the driver hanging out the side of the tube, we choose to provide the driver separately and we utilize the natural pins on the end of the tube for power for a much cleaner looking installation. Since the driver occupies the space of your previous ballast, you will never see the wires or driver while looking up at your fixture.
4500k Natural White. For 6000k Cool White see part number T5-Tube-CW. Though not as popular, this tube is also available in 3200k Warm White part number T5-Tube-WW for those that want a Warmer Look.
You will need basic 12vDC wiring skills to install these tubes, or have them professionally installed. Wiring is basic, each driver gets a positive and negative wire connected, and each driver has a positive and negative wire that need to be connected to the end of each tube. Terrific 12” LED gor flourescent replacement in RV.
These 12” LED bulbs from M4 are a great replacement for the older fluorescent bulbs in the fixture. The replacement wiring was was easy and only took a few minutes. The bulbs are instantly on and a bit brighter than the old bulbs. I fully expect these bulbs to outlast the RV!

Great 12" LED tubes for retrofit
The right color and brightness, and reduced heat and battery power consumption were my goals in replacing the old fluorescent tubes with LED in my motorhome, and these are perfect. M4Products web page info was great, and delivery was fast with good packaging. The step-by-step retrofit instructions were great, especially for these 12" tubes that include removal of the old ballast and install of the small new drivers.

Nice bright light
I’m sure every fluorescent light is different, but mine was a bit involved to change the wiring. I had to drill out rivets to get it apart. Once done, I like the light it gives off and plan on changing all the lights in tha camper.

Easy to update!
The ballast in my fixture burned up so I investigated migrating it to LED. With this kit it was very to do. I am very glad I made the conversion!

Easy conversion
Converted one florescent fixture. It was quite simple and went very well. Will probably convert more fixtures as the tube burnout.

Best 12” LED
Only had one 12” fixture in our coach entry area. Use only when we know are returning in the dark. This is the brightest 12”. Also replaced all our 18” bulbs with M4. The natural white is perfect. See previous review. Thank you M4

New lights in the Roadtrek
I just finished replacing 6 fluorescent bulbs in my Roadtrek motor home with M4LEDs. Job was easy and the lights work fine. The company M4 sent the bulbs very quickly. Hope I don’t need any more for a long time but if I do I’ll order from M4. I replaced fluorescent units that were working well to reduce the drain in my house batteries so I can boondock longer between charges.
