This is a LED retrofit light for 12" Florescent Tube Lights. Due to the size of these smaller tube lights, an external driver is provided. This driver converts 10-30v DC RV power to a clean 12v DC power for long tube life. Other brands of retrofit tube lights have a wire and the driver hanging out the side of the tube, we choose to provide the driver separately and we utilize the natural pins on the end of the tube for power for a much cleaner looking installation. Since the driver occupies the space of your previous ballast, you will never see the wires or driver while looking up at your fixture.
6000k Cool White. For 4500k Natural White see part number T5-Tube-NW. Though not as popular, this tube is also available in 3200k Warm White part number T5-Tube-WW for those that want a Warmer Look.
You will need basic 12vDC wiring skills to install these tubes, or have them professionally installed. Wiring is basic, each driver gets a positive and negative wire connected, and each driver has a positive and negative wire that need to be connected to the end of each tube. Upgrade of old Fixture
This was a great replacement for my older Fluorescent Light. The instructions for rewiring the fixture was accurate and easy to understand. The final result is a bright Clear Light. Very Pleased with the LED Tube replacement from M4.

WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT AND EASY TO INSTALL
The 12" Thinn Lite worked but DULL in the Bathroom but now we have light...DO WE HAVE LIGHT..THE LED's are FANTASTIC also very easy to convert fixture to use....FOLKS THEY ARE JUST GREAT!!! THE WIFE IS HAPPY NOW...

Easy install
I found the M4 Youtube video closely mirrored the provided instructions and made the whole install/conversion a VERY easy process. M4 Note: Just a quick note, the video you found is probably made by TheRVGeeks and featured M4 tubes. Great to hear it helped though!

LED beats flourescent
Easy and safe to install. DC polarity needs to be observed, otherwise existing switches and fixture can be used. Probably not for the complete idiot to install but an 8th grade understanding of electricity is all that's needed for this quick and easy replacement repair or upgrade. The proof will be if it endures the bumps and bangs of road life and slide out manipulation.

Brightens the trailer incredibly
Amazing how such a little tube can change the inside of an RV. Replaced all my 12v overhead fixtures with these lights and made a huge difference in the ability to see, read and clean. Not the easiest installation, but well worth it.

Modification was simple.
Modified my standard 12V ballast lights to the LED tubes and it was a simple process. I replaced 4 tube bulbs in 2 fixtures--took me about 35 minutes total--it would have been less but I had to drill out 2 rivets where the old ballast was. All of the lights on my 41' Tuscany have now been converted to LED and my power consumption has hit rock bottom. It's incredible really. We can boon-dock for 3+days and never need to run the generator. The whiter light is much more to our liking and the fixtures don't get burning hot like they did before. Awesome products.
