This is a LED retrofit light for 12" Florescent Tube Lights. Due to the size of these smaller tube lights, an external driver is provided. This driver converts 10-30v DC RV power to a clean 12v DC power for long tube life. Other brands of retrofit tube lights have a wire and the driver hanging out the side of the tube, we choose to provide the driver separately and we utilize the natural pins on the end of the tube for power for a much cleaner looking installation. Since the driver occupies the space of your previous ballast, you will never see the wires or driver while looking up at your fixture.
6000k Cool White. For 4500k Natural White see part number T5-Tube-NW. Though not as popular, this tube is also available in 3200k Warm White part number T5-Tube-WW for those that want a Warmer Look.
You will need basic 12vDC wiring skills to install these tubes, or have them professionally installed. Wiring is basic, each driver gets a positive and negative wire connected, and each driver has a positive and negative wire that need to be connected to the end of each tube. Quick and easy
I am pleased with this product and happy with my purchase. I was a little anxious with the added work of wiring in the driver for the 12" build, but after reviewing the enclosed instructions and watching a YouTube video, it was a quick and easy install. One note; would be cool if a "+" and "-" sticky were included in the kit in the event the bulbs are removed after install, without making note of which direction they were as these 12" bulbs are like batteries and need to go in the correct direction. But without the sticky, a sharpie works fine. Will add, the guys at m4 are very supportive if you need their assistance with anything.

Great replacement bulbs
This project requires rewiring the existing fixure. Each bulb has a driver that takes the variable voltage from your RV and provides a steady 12 volts DC. Just follow the easy instruction sheet that comes with your bulbs. I highly recommend M4 and their products. Reliable service and products!

12V LED 12" tube
Converted 12 V fluorescent to 12V LED in my RV.. Bulbs and drivers were hooked up just as M4 recommended and Boo Yah!!! Lights work perfectly. So I just ordered 12 of the 18 inch tubes to convert remaining RV ceiling lights. Quality of the bulbs were exceptional! I will continue to use M4 in the future.

Too soon to rate the product BUT
I called and talked with Steve who was quite patient and talked me through the details of tube bulb installation requiring a bit of rewiring. That all went smooth. However, I then realized there was no power coming to the light switch (thought the previous bulb just burned out and I was converting to LED). So - when I remedy getting power to the light switch I'll be able to evaluate the bulb performance. If the bulbs workout, that will be a product and company worth recommending. Stay tuned.

These bulbs are much brighter. Seem to be cooler to the touch.

Wonderful light
We love these lights. They put out so much more light without the heat and they sure save on the coach batteries. Also Steve is great. I messed up two of the eight drivers while wiring and he sent me two new ones almost instantly with no charge. Great lights and GREAT customer service. Thanks Steve

Unbeatable quality and customer service
Great product, fast ship, and they stand behind their work. Despite very high quality control and 100% bench check, one of our lights wouldn't work and they replaced it immediately. Both M4 and RVgeeks made installation a snap, and we love the result. We'll be back!
