Second Batch....
After replacing the florescent bulbs in 3 fixtures, I was so pleased with the results that I decided to also replace the florescent bulbs in the final two fixtures in my Lazy Daze coach. Thanks to M4 Products all my inside lights are now LED's...

Excellent Upgrade for your RV
Heard about the product via the website TheRVGeeks.com. Purchase the 18 tube lights because I had 2 ballast going bad. The bad ballast were causing my HVAC system to lock up so I figured it was a good excuse to begin converting over to LED. I placed the order on a Monday evening. Process was very easy. I was impressed that the ordered arrived Thursday afternoon. What makes it significant is I used the 'free' delivery option and the lights were traveling from California to Delaware. Very fast. It was very easy to install the new LED tubes. We very much like the color selection and the brightness of the new bulbs. Looking forward to continue the conversion process. Highly recommended.

Impressed with ease of retrofit.
Installation was a breeze and the video really helped. I had a ceiling light ready to go out and thought I would try this approach. It cost me about $35 to send another fixture to manufacturer for repair. Cost for LED replacement was over $50 but will try to replace as needed so I do not end up with sticker shock as this is the only reason for a 4 star instead of a 5.

wow! very easy to install
At first I was not sure if this was going to be complicated and hard, then I saw the utube. Really simple and easy to follow instructions. Works great and looks just like the original. Can't wait to Try out boondocking in Big Bend. Will be looking at replacing other fixtures after our test in Big Bend.

Great Alternative to Fluorescent
My fixtures have a double tube so I had to jump the two end contacts together as well as eliminate the old ballast and control circuitry. I ended up taking the contacts apart to remove the old wires rather than just cut them. The ballast was pop-riveted in so I just left it in place. It took a little manipulating to get the bulb heat sink in the right position so when you rotate the bulb, it ends up on top. The light is so much brighter and natural and got rid of that yellowish cast altogether. Would highly recommend switching to these LED bulbs.

Bright and Natural, Great Light!
We followed the instructions for the 18-inch, T8 tube light, and it was easy to install with attention to safety precautions (disconnect circuit first) and attention to every detail. It's truly a more natural light than the flourescent that it replaced, and it is brighter. Colors under the light look more normal and accurate. Impressive! We installed the Dimmer-N as a surface mount device right next to the light fixture, and it works fine. Next, we'll order some chokes from Digikey and put a choke on the incoming cable from the ceiling to cut noise from the LED driver circuit along with chokes on other devices here (inverter, controller and other aplliances that already generate noise through the 12-volt lines)--some work that needed to be done here anyway. We're happy with the 18-inch, T8 tube light and will order more as soon as possible.

great product
Just replaced our second RV lighting with these and am very satisfied. Easy to replace and love that you don't have the wires hanging off of the tube. To be able to run your lights with half of the wattage is worth it's wait in gold in the RV industry when you use mostly battery power.

nice light, but more heat
We hake been changing over all our RV lites to led from M4 and have just been very happy with all. The replacement fluorescent bulbs are the same natural lite, but definenitly brighter and sad to say almost as hot as the old bulbs. I do like them and will use them for sure, they don't make the inverter kick on,just don't like the heat. By the way all the other LED lites stay cool to luke warm. M4 Note: On a florescent tube, the heat is focused more at the ballast. The LED has a heat sink along the back of the tube for long life, so the heat is drawn from the LED chips themselves, so if you touch around the aluminum heat sink the heat will be concentrated there. It will not be too hot to touch, and really shouldn't be any hotter outside the fixture than the florescent tube is.

Great light, easy installation!
I purchased six of these conversion LED's to refit existing fluorescent tubes in my motor home after reading the high praise on howtorvgeeks.com. Installation was very straight forward. After installing the first pair, the next two pairs took less than ten minutes to complete. Now? No more flicker on start-up and the light quality is better than the harsh light we had from the stock tubes. This upgrade is a must have item!
