Easy Conversion
This was an easy conversion to make. I even left the old ballast in place. Took about ten minutes per fixture. The tubes are brigher than the original tubes and come on at maximum brightness the instant you turn them on. A very worthwhile conversion.

Very bright, great color
The tube seemed well made and the install wasn't difficult. The light is brighter than the fluorescent tube it replaced and the same color. Perfect for what we wanted. Now if it lasts as long as it is supposed to, we'll be very happy. Intend to buy several more for other fixtures.

Led coversion
This is the second order of the same lights. We miss counted the number of fixtures in the motor home. We now have 10 florencent fixtures replaced and all other lights changed to led. Product was shipped quickly and instructions were easy to follow. Now the entire rv has been converted to m4 leds. Great products worthy of the price.

18" LED tube Installation hints
These are looking good and I appreciate they are a bit brighter than the flourescents they replaced. After the third install I finally figured out that its easiest to align the ends with the sockets and the light orientated how you want it, by turning the ends, before putting them in. I may be a slow learner but I fought getting the tubes correct into the first two fixtures but doing the alignment first and they pop right in. Also, with my fixture you can pull down the socket piece just a bit helping the lights to pop in. Also, double check the wires at the ends after re-installing the ballast cover. I had some tight up against the sharp ballast cover which could have caused some cut/exposed wires and shorts.

18" LED tube light
After seeing how bright the 1156 N/W bulbs were, I was a bit disapointed with this bulb! Although the N/W colour is much better that the cool white fluorescent, it is really not much brighter, just a different colour, but...I will like them from the point of view of saving amps to run... M4 Note: For Florescent tube lights, the LED replacement is on average at least 10% brighter. It does depend on the age of the original tube (florescents dim more with age) and the color choice (Cool White, or whiter colors provide more "visible" light). Be sure to see the link to our Color Range page at the top of the website.

More light less heat
Quality lights. Knowledgeable and responsive staff. Natural is a great shade. These lights give off more light with significantly less heat than the florescent. I am pleased. My fixtures required removal as the cover plates over wiring required removal of rivets. Otherwise fairly easy install.
