    This is a LED retrofit light for 12" Florescent Tube Lights.  Due to the size of these smaller tube lights, an external driver is provided.  This driver converts 10-30v DC RV power to a clean 12v DC power for long tube life.  Other brands of retrofit tube lights have a wire and the driver hanging out the side of the tube, we choose to provide the driver separately and we utilize the natural pins on the end of the tube for power for a much cleaner looking installation.  Since the driver occupies the space of your previous ballast, you will never see the wires or driver while looking up at your fixture. 

    4500k Natural White.  For 6000k Cool White see part number T5-Tube-CW.  Though not as popular, this tube is also available in 3200k Warm White part number T5-Tube-WW for those that want a Warmer Look.

    You will need basic 12vDC wiring skills to install these tubes, or have them professionally installed.  Wiring is basic, each driver gets a positive and negative wire connected, and each driver has a positive and negative wire that need to be connected to the end of each tube.  View the full detailed installation instructions here  Not recommended to be used near HAM radio or in close proximity to sensitive radio or tv equipment.

      12" LED T5 tube

      Purchased a new radio for our RV and when using the fluorescent lights, you could not listen to the radio because of the static from the ballasts. Purchased (4) bulbs to try and was delighted with the results. Purchased an additional (4) bulbs and just installed them. Only (8) more double lights to convert. Can't wait to order more.

      I replaced the 12" over the sink at the same time I did the 18" over the bathroom sink. Both of the installs were easy and the lighting color and intensity are outstanding. Very pleased with the appearance too, where you cannot see the individual LED's. Looks just like the old flourescents!

      Best replacement for 12 inch florescent bulb

      I replaced the 12 inch florescent bulbs in 11 fixtures in my Chinook RV with the M4 T5 tubes. The fixtures has the ballast and reflector secured with pop-rivets so there was more effort to change than in cheaper fixtures. It took about 15 minutes per fixture. They now draw 1/3 of the power the old ones did, and look great. I had tried some "native" LED fixtures but did not like the glaring light the raw LEDs put out. The M$ tubes provide light that is even and comfortable.

      Extremely pleased with these 12" LED bulbs. A little challenging to wire but after installing 10 18" LED fluorescents I made it with no glitches. Steve was so very helpful and provided additional instructions via email. Terrific product and great company! High quality product.
