    This is a LED retrofit light for 12" Florescent Tube Lights.  Due to the size of these smaller tube lights, an external driver is provided.  This driver converts 10-30v DC RV power to a clean 12v DC power for long tube life.  Other brands of retrofit tube lights have a wire and the driver hanging out the side of the tube, we choose to provide the driver separately and we utilize the natural pins on the end of the tube for power for a much cleaner looking installation.  Since the driver occupies the space of your previous ballast, you will never see the wires or driver while looking up at your fixture. 

    4500k Natural White.  For 6000k Cool White see part number T5-Tube-CW.  Though not as popular, this tube is also available in 3200k Warm White part number T5-Tube-WW for those that want a Warmer Look.

    You will need basic 12vDC wiring skills to install these tubes, or have them professionally installed.  Wiring is basic, each driver gets a positive and negative wire connected, and each driver has a positive and negative wire that need to be connected to the end of each tube.  View the full detailed installation instructions here  Not recommended to be used near HAM radio or in close proximity to sensitive radio or tv equipment.

      Easy to install. Excellent light

      These are brighter than the florescent lights that they replaced. Very easy to install. Took about 2 hours to replace 5 double bulb light fixtures.

      I went with M4 because of a video by RVGeeks. I find the quality of the product and ease of installation makes this purchase highly worthwhile. I just replaced two bulbs because of a ballast fire. After that scare and seeing how easy it was to convert to this wonderful product and excellent upgrade to the RV I'm planning on a whole RV conversion to M4 led products.

      Truly Daylight Balanced

      We live on a sailboat that has "white-ish" fiberglass walls and lots of daylight flooding in. I absolutely hate mixed lighting so proper color temperature is extremely important to me. These bulbs have a nice color that seems to match the color temperature of the natural light bouncing around our cabins and heads. Lots of brightness, proper color and less power consumption...no complaints here.

      We exchanged 2 light fixtures with these LED tube lights. Changing the wiring was easy with the instructions and watching the youtube video. The kitchen counter is lit much brighter now. We had previously changed all, but the kitchen counter lights, to M4 leds and loved the natural color. It is nice to have the new counter lights match the color temperature of the rest of the RV, too. We are very pleased with the results. We love M4, because if you happen to run into a problem you have someone to help you out.

      Direct Replacement for original 12" tube lights in Class B RV

      I replaced all 12" fluorescent tubes in my class b RV with these LED tube lights. It requires a little rewiring but it is easy and straight forward to do. The existing fixtures with these bulbs look like the original installation however the lights are much brighter and the color of the light is better. This is a great bulb for any small tube light installation.

      Ordered this LED tube to replace a ballast that went out on a Thinlite fixture. Went together well, great clean light. Now I have six more fixtures to swap out.

      LED's. The Way To Go For Sure

      Switched over to LED's completely in our Motor Home. The brighter lighting took away all of the darker areas that were evident in the Coach. Best move we ever made. Thanks to Steve, he made the transition an easy one, with the complete stock of supplies he has on hand. Looking forward to the power savings, now. Thanks again, Steve
