This is a LED retrofit light for 12" Florescent Tube Lights. Due to the size of these smaller tube lights, an external driver is provided. This driver converts 10-30v DC RV power to a clean 12v DC power for long tube life. Other brands of retrofit tube lights have a wire and the driver hanging out the side of the tube, we choose to provide the driver separately and we utilize the natural pins on the end of the tube for power for a much cleaner looking installation. Since the driver occupies the space of your previous ballast, you will never see the wires or driver while looking up at your fixture.
6000k Cool White. For 4500k Natural White see part number T5-Tube-NW. Though not as popular, this tube is also available in 3200k Warm White part number T5-Tube-WW for those that want a Warmer Look.
You will need basic 12vDC wiring skills to install these tubes, or have them professionally installed. Wiring is basic, each driver gets a positive and negative wire connected, and each driver has a positive and negative wire that need to be connected to the end of each tube. impressive
The only install problem on the T5 is the common ties between the 2 bulbs that needs the be cut. Without special cutters this tie requires to be cut in the middle and capped at one end with a wire nut, the other end then used to complete the connection at that end, as a result the parts are short 2 wire nuts. The 2 bulbs are wire independ of each other.

How to Improve your RV lighting
I have installed eight sets of the T-5 LED conversion lights. My rv has now noticably improved lighting. The product shines like a flourescent instead of just a strip on LED's which is very nice. The conversion is made simple and direct. I would recommend these to any needing more light and less power use. Nate Lott

great light
I am a "light" person! This little bulb cranks out the light. Comfortable light. I can see everything on my dirty dishes now. Alas, 'squeeky clean' takes on heavy meaning... If you can use a screwdriver, you should have a fairly easy time converting/installing these LED sticks. I have done several installs and let my 17 year old do this last fixture. No hitches. Just follow the simple directions/diagrams. Great service!

Excellent ligth love them
these tube gave excellent light and the directions were excellent except for my fixtures it was near impossible to remove factory ballast without drilling out many pop rivets. I elected to snake wires by it and work the drivers in with ballast. Driver wires could be several inches longer if possible. it would be nice if one driver could run 2 tubes as most fixtures have that many. It was a little harder to install than I expected but worth the time for the light difference. love it

Easy to install.
Just installed this lamp in our camper. Very easy to do, instructions were PERFECT. I had a double light fixture but found I have more light with just one lamp. We dry camp and use solar panels and two deep cells batteries for our power. Just got done converting ALL of our bulbs to LEDs to cut done on the energy use. We haven't had to run the generators in weeks.
