This is a LED retrofit light for 12" Florescent Tube Lights. Due to the size of these smaller tube lights, an external driver is provided. This driver converts 10-30v DC RV power to a clean 12v DC power for long tube life. Other brands of retrofit tube lights have a wire and the driver hanging out the side of the tube, we choose to provide the driver separately and we utilize the natural pins on the end of the tube for power for a much cleaner looking installation. Since the driver occupies the space of your previous ballast, you will never see the wires or driver while looking up at your fixture.
6000k Cool White. For 4500k Natural White see part number T5-Tube-NW. Though not as popular, this tube is also available in 3200k Warm White part number T5-Tube-WW for those that want a Warmer Look.
You will need basic 12vDC wiring skills to install these tubes, or have them professionally installed. Wiring is basic, each driver gets a positive and negative wire connected, and each driver has a positive and negative wire that need to be connected to the end of each tube. excellent conversion
These new LED's are much brighter than the old fluorescents. I found the replacement to be quite easy. I did not use M4 instructions which I found difficult for a novice to understand but used the "RV geek's" video to replace the 12 inch tubes and it could not have been easier. Yes, it is easier to replace the 18 inch tubes, and I would like the additional light of an 18 inch tube, but I will NOT hesitate to replace my other 12 inch tubes with M4 conversions when those bulbs/ballast/transformers die.

Need to replace ballast with another devise
The lights work well. But the installation is much more tedious than the 18 inch units. I will only replace other fixtures if forced to. But will upgrade all the 18 inch units M4 Note: The LED driver that protects the LEDs in an RV environment needs to be external on the 12" tube due to size limitations. The driver is small, and has two wires in, and two wires out. Overall, the conversion is wired the same, it just adds this in between the wires to the tube as described in the details. T5 cool white LED replacement
The LED tubes were shipped and arrived very quickly. The pricing and the shipping costs were low. Installation was easy, although I soldered the driver leads and used shrink tubing on the joints versus using the wire nuts. My old two 12" fluorescent tubes drew 1.07 amps versus .44 amps for the two LED's, and they appear to be much brighter. Since we boondock a lot anything to reduce the battery load is a benefit.

Wow! Great Quality Lights!!
As with all of the other products I have bought from M4, these lights are awesome! Straight forward instructions for a super easy install, and the light from them is outstanding! I now have replaced every factory bulb in my camper with all M4 products. It is without a doubt the best investment I have ever made for my RV.

Fluorescent replacement LED
These are designed and work great. Little modification to fixture. Light (cool white) is just what I want. Clean , white light and no real blue. Could not be more pleased. The people at M4Products will respond to you asap and I liked that. Would Recommend to anyone.

Fluorescent replacement LED tubes
Great product. Brighter and whiter light. Really brightens up the coach--which was my objective. Much cooler as well. Would highly recommend these tubes for replacement.

Great Product, Great Service, Great Price
We just finished retro-fitting most of our light over to LED and b ought all We just finished retro fitting most of our motorhome lights to LED. We bought all of our lights from M4 and research proved that they have the best prices. I had trouble with one of the lights. I took a picture of the fixture and sent it to Steve and in no time he sent the picture back to me with where to make cuts and where to splice the wires. Great customer service! I received my entire order within 4 days of placing it.
