This is a LED retrofit light for 12" Florescent Tube Lights. Due to the size of these smaller tube lights, an external driver is provided. This driver converts 10-30v DC RV power to a clean 12v DC power for long tube life. Other brands of retrofit tube lights have a wire and the driver hanging out the side of the tube, we choose to provide the driver separately and we utilize the natural pins on the end of the tube for power for a much cleaner looking installation. Since the driver occupies the space of your previous ballast, you will never see the wires or driver while looking up at your fixture.
6000k Cool White. For 4500k Natural White see part number T5-Tube-NW. Though not as popular, this tube is also available in 3200k Warm White part number T5-Tube-WW for those that want a Warmer Look.
You will need basic 12vDC wiring skills to install these tubes, or have them professionally installed. Wiring is basic, each driver gets a positive and negative wire connected, and each driver has a positive and negative wire that need to be connected to the end of each tube. T5 LED Tube Light Upgrade
Easy Install, use wire nuts or solder and heat wrap, I have used the 12" and 24" kits and been happy with both. Both lengths can be turned for more or less light, I like the cool white for overall lighting in RV.

Florescent light replacement
Although many time more expensive than just replacing with conventional tubes, the LED conversion proved to be brighter and uses less battery power. Both a welcome improvement, longevity yet to be determined. Very happy with this product.

Fluorescent replacement
The RV Geeks video helped me best for my particular light. Once I figured out which wires went where, the process went pretty quick. The light output is awesome. Instant on! No delay or warm up time like the fluorescent had. I will continue the replacement process throughout my RV:)
