FESTOON-3-5050-WW Warm White 5mm x 31mm micro festoon 3 5050 SMD LEDs

I ordered 3 of these. 2 for my entry step lights and 1 for the "night light" in a 12 inch T-5 fixture. The LED Festoons worked beautifully in the step lights because the bulb holders were shaped sort of like a "C" . The fact that all 3 of the LED chips were on the same side of the Festoon made them easily directional and they worked much better than the incandescent Festoon bulbs. As far as the little 12" T-5 fixture night light function, this Festoon LED did not work at all. The problem is that the bulb holders are thin, flat pieces of metal with holes drilled in them. The original bulb had pointed ends which fit into the holes on the contacts. This Festoon LED is flat on the ends and will not stay in the original contacts. If this was available with pointed ends, it would probably work just fine. M4 Note: The correct festoon for the T5 fixtures is the FESTOON-211-1 with the fatter 8mm bases.

This bulb is sufficiently bright and matched OEM halogen bulb light temperature. I bought this bulb to replace the interior trunk light of my 1999 Lexus ES300 and this bulb fit properly.

I replaced my original bulb with this LED and it seems a bit cool in color and the light not as strong, but I haven't used it at night, which is when it will come on for my use (comes on and lights the floor at entry to my RV when the patio light is on). So, it might be just right as I don't want a bright light on at night if I leave my porch light on when sleeping. Otherwise seems to work fine. M4 Note: I would definitely look at a small walkway light at night, not during daylight hours, for evaluation. This is similar to the original. The main draw to customers is to save 90% of the power on these nightlights, not to have an overwhelming amount of light.

I have floor lighting in our sailboat and these little bulbs were a perfect swap for the pain-in-the-butt halogens that came stock. Hopefully I will never have to replace these bulbs again because the LEDs should last "forever". I typically prefer cool white but since it's floor lighting I think the warm looks more pleasing.

These little lights are just what I was looking for to replace the original lights. They burn cool, thus use only a fraction of the amperage of the incandescants while putting out the same light.

Replaced my incandescant bulb in my 5th wheel that illuminates my "Suicide Steps just outside my bath" and they work great. Can be left on as a night light and provide adequate natural illumination of the steps.

This product works as advertised. I like the web sight it is easy to navigate around and find product needed.
