Product Description
This produces more light than a porch light, less than a massive halogen flood. This is the right size light for additional lighting for normal camping activities like cooking, playing games, working on your toys, or just hanging out. It is also a good size for a scare light. Replace your existing light, or even better add it as a second light for when you need additional lighting. These are also great for Toyhauler rear loading lights, enclosed trailer side lights, hitch lights, or high mounted backup lamps for your RV or trailer.
Full aluminum body light with an angled body. Fully weatherproof and it includes a rubber base gasket and stainless nuts and bolts. You can also mount it with Stainless screws (not included) if you don't have access to the back of the panel you are mounting it to. The wires can be mounted out the back, or off to the side over the body recess notches. When mounting, use clear RTV to ensure a good waterproof seal.
Look at all of the pictures for size. Smaller footprint than some standard porch lights, so if you are looking to replace your entire existing light it may not cover all of the existing holes.
This item is available in White or Black, or different sizes, look in the store.

ANGLED ALUMINUM BODY SURFACE MOUNT FLOOD LED LIGHT 5" BLACK
Replaced 20 year-old bulb flood lights, two on the rear of my cargo trailer and one next to side entrance door. Easy to install after some minor metal work and painting to clean up footprint of old light units. Tested lights in the dark of night, they are nice and bright! Glad I made the upgrade!!

Great, small RV 'Porch Lite'
I live full time in my 5th wheel rv. Original door 'porch lite' was very inefficient for outdoor use [ honestly barely adequate to even cover the door itself] to lite up outside in areas where there are no outdoor lighting [ie: street lamps, etc]. This lite is very brite, and for it size does cover area[s] nicely to see what's around. Only two [minor] items. 1] no wiring instruction, especially to note which wire hot, or ground wire. Made installation longer, especially considering this rv wiring schematic, color coding lack of consistency lacking, a longer job than it could have been. 2] Lite IS BRITE, so if in an rv park, campground, etc it may bother your neighbour. All said, money well used. M4 Note: Red is hot, Black is ground, standard 12 volt coloring, and it won't hurt the light if you connect it backwards for a very short amount of time. Your RV wire colors can vary. often the ground wires are White, but not always. You can test your RV with a meter to determine polarity if necessary.
