This Elite2 has 9 bright 3030 SMD LED bulb provides similar output to an original 921 and uses a small fraction of the power. It has a full aluminum head, and the PCBs that the LEDs are mounted to are aluminum too. It is important to have aluminum to draw heat away from the LEDs for long life, and they also have the largest protective circuit on the market.
A traditional Wedge has a glass base with wires that wrap around the bottom of the glass. The base is insulated plastic and has wide contact strips for a positive contact. In tight sockets, while inserting, rock the LED back and forth along the length of the wedge to open the socket so the lamp will drop into place. This is part of our Elite Series of bulbs.

Worth It!
I purchased four of these LED lights to try them out in our two most used light fixtures in our RV. What a difference! Bye bye, dull, yellow lights and hello to clear, brilliant light! These do not consume nearly as much power as the old lights, nor do they get hot like the old ones. I had one of the fixtures on the entire day with the new bulbs in, and it's not hot whatsoever, just a little warm to the touch. Nothing like the scorching, fiery heat that the old lights would give off. I am going to buy some more of these and do ALL the fixtures in our RV. Buy these, it's worth it, and you won't regret it.

Great improvement! I now have good lighting over the kitchen table where I also do some paperwork. They are tight going in, but you just need to rock them a little bit until they go on. I'd definitely recommend doing this!
