This is a direct 1383 LED Retrofit for most fixtures. This is a full 3 Watt Bulb with all the light, but pulls only 0.21 amps at 13vdc. On average uses about 15% of the power of a regular 1383. Many other suppliers will only offer 1-2w bulbs at this price range which are not bright enough. Check your fixture at the base to ensure there is clearance fo the larger lower body.

Reading Light Performance
Replacement bulbs save energy and produce the same light for reading. Excellent product.

Very happy with the Aluminum Housing & Light
Not only is this a great replacement LED, the designer included a nice aluminum ring. I didn't know it mattered until I went to install new lights into our overhead reading lamps, which require quite a bit of finger pressure to install (especially as the coach ages). As in, I would have been worried about putting my thumb through the traditional bulb, into the glass, if i had to replace it. Highly recommend this design and bulb.

Spotlight
Excellent replacement for a couple of reading fixtures we have that used incandescent spotlights. These bulbs seem to be solid, high quality replacements. They seem overly pricey at first glance, but it turned out that none of the name-brand competitors had a better value.

Excellent choice RV
I installed this replacement lamp above the range cooktop in my RV and it was a perfect choice. It provided bright enough light to prepare food, but not so bright to be obnoxious when used in the evening to light up the coach.

Great retrofit
The right color and brightness, and reduced heat and battery power consumption were my goals in replacing the old map light incandescents with LED in my motorhome, and this is perfect. M4Products web page info was great, and delivery was fast with good packaging.

Best LED's on the market
I have tried and use several different brands of LED's in our 5th wheel and these lights (1383) are by far the best in terms of lumens and natural light. The company also has a great customer service dept, and responds to emails and concerns very quickly. I will definitely be buying my LED's here, in the future. Highly recommended.
