RSL-2835-13-CW Rigid Strip Light with 96 Cool White 2835 LEDs

I bought 2 of these strip lights to replace a halogen light fixture in the cargo bay of my RV. These are pretty small and easy to hide in places where they're not in the way. They put out a really nice, bright and even light that easily illuminates the cargo bays. I had to add 12V rocker switches to turn them on and off because they do not come with a switch (because they are so compact). They come with a strip of double sided foam tape which makes them super easy to attach. I am really impressed with these lights and plan on ordering some more.

This product is bright and is easy to put up. Though tapped holes are for stud mounting, they are through holes and allow you to use your own screws to mount. They are bright and have a good beam spread that lights up a cabinet that doesn't have much vertical height. If this were available in a longer unit, it would be a game changer to replace bulky fluorescent 4' lights. As it is, I will probably just by the required number to do the job. This seems to be a good product.

Gives a lot of light just what I need !! It gets pretty warm if left on for a long time !! M4 Note: Heat is a normal bi-product of light efficiency. No light is 100% efficient, what isn't turned to light creates heat. LEDs that don't have a proper heat sink fail in time. Items like our RSL have an aluminum body that is a heat sink, and this pulls the heat away from the LEDs making them last much longer. As the aluminum is drawing the heat, it will accumulate heat, but it is minimal. It will be warm/hot to your touch, but it is nothing like a normal light bulb that will burn you instantly. This is completely normal and there is no concern.

Everything went well with the installation. Very nice light. The only thing that I didn't quite care for was that the light color was a bit to bluish. My wife would have preferred a softer color, toward the yellow spectrum. I installed it in almost the same way as the other reviewers below. Just a bit to blue

We received the product to try in place of overhead cabin fluorescent tubes. These would fit inside of the fixtures and I used 3m body molding two sided tape that I supplied to hold them in place. Easy install, snip the white and the black after the fixture switch. Didn't work at first but reverse the wires and worked fine. The only issue is the warmth (color) of the light. It is very white to almost blue. I really don't care for that so will be looking for something else. That being said, the quality of the light is very good and install was easy.

I put this LED light bar on top of our cabinets in our 5th Wheel trailer for indirect lighting. I have it hooked up to a dimmer switch ( DIMMER-N ) that M4 sells. I can have it down low as a night light, or at full power. It has a daylight color to it that works great in our RV.
