H3 bulbs are common to Weekend Warrior(tm) and other trailers with external spot lights and have a replacement LED light. If you never use your outside flood /docking lights because they draw too much power, you can get 80% of the light out of these bulbs while using a mere fraction of the power of the standard Halogen H3. This bulb has an aluminum heat sink to last in the sealed housing.
This does not replace full sealed beam halogen lights, if you housing looks similar, but you have a sealed beam light with wire lugs on the back, click here.
This is not intended use as a replacement for forward facing driving lights as it is not made to be brighter, but made to be efficient in side docking and flood lights. For forward facing headlights see our Headlight/Fog Light HEADLIGHT-H3-BLADE
These are a single circuit high power LED for ON/OFF housings common to these trailers. They can also be used in HI/LO housings, but you will only have one setting and will need to add a pig tail ground to the base.

H3 LED Retrofit Lamp
I was looking for an H3 LED with the same form factor as the H3 Xenon bulbs and this was the only led I could find without an extended back. The application is for retrofitting a Hummer H2 Delta Tech light bar with 6 housings where one of the housings bad broken and while having the light bar off the vehicle NOW is the time to replace all the lamps. Each of the six housings are sealed with a back cover plate that will not allow LEDs with extended heat sink backs (less than 1/4in longer than original Xenon bulbs). After reading the description and talking with Steve I knew this specific retrofit LED did not have the same output as the Xenon bulb. Just to gauge for myself I measured the light output using a smartphone app and a small 12v battery at about 12in distance; the unofficial results showed approx 600lux for this LED Retrofit and approx 1124lux for a used Xenon bulb. So although this LED retorfit is ~50% less light output, it should meet my needs for aesthetics and reduces the crazy high amps from the original six Xenon bulbs (in fact need to rewire the light bar due to old cracked wire with high amps) - if I needed performance these would not work but then I'd have to spend ~$2k+ to buy a whole new light bar - this retrofit LED will work ok for 'looks'' on an old truck and costs less than $100 to rebuild what I have.

Ordered lights for half the RV a few months ago. Very easy to install/convert with the Youtube video and the provided instructions. Made another order a few weeks ago and now RV is 100% LED. Thanks M4:)

great buld replacement
Just as hoped, a bulb to replace my incandecent bulb. Fit as stated just replace and done. Doesn't always work, but this bulb did.

Great replacement bulb
When I received these retrofit flood bulbs I needed help with how to wire them I to my trailer. I contacted m4 and got an immediate response and the guidance I needed. The install went very well. I'm very pleased with the brightness compared to my old bulbs and look forward to not having the battery draw I had with the old bulbs.

Great Retrofit Light
This Retrofit Light seems to work very well and was easy to install. I have not had a chance to field test, but in the driveway test it performed excellent. I was most impressed with the service I received as (Steve) was very patient and therefore I received all the correct lighting I needed as I ordered several different bulbs. I am very happy with all the M-4 products I have used so far.

H3 LED retrofit works great!
I had difficulty locating replacement H3 bulbs for the docking lights for my Lance truck camper. I had already replaced all of my interior lights with LEDs from M4, so I was happy to see an LED replacement for the H3. Like an earlier review noted, the bulb is just a little larger than the original, so I had to modify the opening in the fixture. It took no more than two minutes with a Dremel tool to make the adjustment in each light fixture. They are plenty bright for my purposes, and using only 1/4 of the power makes my battery happier!
