Product Description
This item is sold as a Pair (2 LED bulbs included)
A new even brighter COB design. Very bright White band of light all the way around the LED, plus a bright tip, all wrapped around of an Aluminum Heat Sink Body. These are very bright 15w LEDs. A 3157 is a common size snap in tail and front corner lights. Uses Epistar brand LED chips.
Use Red under Red or Amber under Amber when possible for a richer, brighter light. This one in White for when you cannot use Red or Amber LED Tail lights come on faster, use less power, generate very little heat, and are brighter.
This works with Standard 3157 Sockets. Does not work with 3157CK sockets. See the images on the difference so you can test the socket.
This is a non-canbus light. Canbus is required on some vehicles if the vehicle computer checks for burned out bulbs, or for turn signals (may cause signal to blink rapidly). Trailer lights do not require Canbus LEDs.
A very bright replacement tail light for trailers or vehicles with Towing Heavy Duty Relays. On vehicles without, it will blink rapidly as if a bulb is out. If you don't know if you have a heavy duty relay, remove one bulb and turn on your turn signal. If the indicator and remaining bulbs blink at the normal rate, you can use this bulb as is, but if it blinks rapidly this is not compatible. A Load Resistor can also be put in the circuit to cure rapid blink problems.

Used as back up light
Bought as back up light for my Hummer. H3 however not Knowing that it would affect my aftermarkt revision camera that is some how connected to the voltage of the Back up lights, As soon as I installed them the revison camera came on an wouldn;t shut off. even going down the road it still was on, also it prevented any othe freature from working on the dash radio, nav system etc. when I changed back to the incandesent lights everthing returned to normal. M4 Note: We have no particular experience with H3 Hummers, we primarily deal with motorhomes, trailers, and trucks. It is rare that a backup lamp is monitored by the computer system, but this one must be. Adding resistors to the circuit (available in our store) will fool the computer and eliminate the error. We saw the review and have forwarded this information to the customer. As always, if you a tech question before, during or after the sale, please contact us by phone or email, it is the easiest way to get resolution.
