This is a direct 1383 LED Retrofit for most fixtures. This is a full 3 Watt Bulb with all the light, but pulls only 0.21 amps at 13vdc. On average uses about 15% of the power of a regular 1383. Many other suppliers will only offer 1-2w bulbs at this price range which are not bright enough. Check your fixture at the base to ensure there is clearance fo the larger lower body.

1383-3W-NW NATURAL WHITE
Color was exactly what was expected. I do not like blue white nor soft white. This was just right. The spread of the light was very good and just the right amount of light over my chair.

Light bulbs
There nice, but a little short M4 Note: Let us know what bulb you are replacing, these are almost the exact same length as a 1383. Usually when we hear anything on this it is too long because a customer needed a 1139 replacement which we also have. Let us know, more feedback is better for our knowledge base. With no name we can't contact you.

These are great for reading lights over the bed just the right amount of light for reading. They also make great accent lighting.

Replaced reading light lamps in RV
For some reason my Firefox travel trailer came with all LED lamps except the reading lights and the light over the dining table. So these replace those hot lamps. So far they work fine.

5 years and still bright
Purchased 4 in Sept. 2013, same price. M4Products give best lumins/$, takes time to ensure replacement LEDs match lumins of incandescents.

Perfect fit & bright
So was looking for a LED replacement for the over the bed spots in the RV. The ones I tried before were weak or the wrong color or had strange "pimple" lenses. These were form, fit, & function perfect. These are bright white lights, no looking at the sun without special eclipse glasses.
