This is a direct 1383 LED Retrofit for most fixtures. This is a full 3 Watt Bulb with all the light, but pulls only 0.21 amps at 13vdc. On average uses about 15% of the power of a regular 1383. Many other suppliers will only offer 1-2w bulbs at this price range which are not bright enough. Check your fixture at the base to ensure there is clearance fo the larger lower body.

These are very nice, bright bulbs, I use these for reading books at night and I can actually see the print! Bright white light, just what an old man needs to see! You won't be disappointed! Priced right too!

I SEE THE LIGHT
I have heard about LED lights and know that in other uses they are good. I can not believe how bright these are. More importantly, my lenses probably will not get holes burnt in them from the heat of incandescent bulbs!! The difference between these and incandescent is literally night and day. We love them and our motorhome is lit up like daytime now, during the night hours. We are confirmed fans.

Great product, easy conversion
Steve was great to work with. I had lot's of questions about different bulbs. He pointed me in the right direction for each style I had. When I decided to replace all my bulbs with LED's (10 florescent, 15 wedge style 921, a couple 1141 and couple of 1383) I only wanted to do it once. I wanted everything to match in color. I choose M4 because they offered a great bulb for each type I had and at a great price. The florescent bulbs were an easy conversion with the wiring instructions that came with the bulbs. I've only had them in a week, but the light output is superior to what I had. They also use less energy. I looked at a lot of other bulbs, and these are the best and at a lower cost. If I need bulbs for another installation, I will buy again from M4.
