    Standard 1142 Double Contact Push and Turn Bayonette Base.  Base has a positive and a negative contact at the bottom and the bulb has a single "filament"  Compatible with incandescent part numbers 1056, 1076, 1142, 68, 90 (not compatible with a 1157 which is a dual filament bulb with similar contacts on the bottom

      Can't Tell the Difference

      I replaced some incandescent lights that were drawing right at 2 amps each in my boat and in a side by side comparison the color and light output are virtually identical. The only way to tell the difference is on the ammeter.
